About Ghana
Ghana is a West African country on the Gulf of Guinea, between Cote d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, and Togo, and was the first sub-Saharan country to gain independence in 1957. Ghana is a multiethnic country rich in natural resources and is one of the most stable and democratic countries in West Africa. Today, over half of Ghana's workforce is employed by small landholders working with natural resources and agriculture. The country is known for its vibrant artistic culture, as well as its beautifully bright batik print fabrics.
