About Egypt

Egypt is the most populous country in North Africa and the Arab world. The population lives on less than 8% of the land, staying near the banks of the Nile River where the only arable land is found. Egypt's economy faces a number of hurdles, with a generally low standard of living related to its population and limited economic resources to support it. Home to one of the richest architectural cultures in the world, Egypt is a recognized cultural center of the Arabic-speaking world.
